Nu-Cal Pipeline Corp. is seeking experienced and dependable
Wet Utility Pipe Layers to join our underground construction team.
This is a hands-on field position responsible for the installation of
underground wet utility piping systems. We are looking for
individuals who understand underground construction, take pride in
quality workmanship, and can work safely and efficiently as part of a
crew.
Key Responsibilities
Install underground wet utility pipe in accordance with project
plans and specifications
Assist with the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain
systems
Set, align, grade, and connect pipe accurately
Install fittings, valves, manholes, structures, and other related
components as required
Read grade stakes and assist with maintaining proper line and
grade
Prepare trenches and pipe bedding for installation
Work closely with foremen, equipment operators, laborers, and
other crew members
Assist with excavation, backfill, compaction, and jobsite
cleanup as needed
Inspect pipe and materials before installation and report
damaged or defective materials
Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform additional duties as assigned by the foreman or
construction management team
What We're Looking For
Previous wet utility or underground pipeline construction
experience preferred
