Whole Home Water Treatment Expert / Installer

Looking for an experienced whole-home water treatment professional in the Chicagoland area.

This is not an entry-level position.

I’m looking for someone who has a deep understanding of residential water treatment and can personally design, install, troubleshoot, and service high-quality whole-home systems.

You Should Have Strong Experience With:

• Whole-house water filtration systems
• Activated carbon and catalytic carbon
• Water softeners and conditioners
• Reverse osmosis systems
• Sediment filtration
• Iron and manganese removal
• Well-water treatment
• UV systems
• Specialty contaminant treatment
• System sizing and flow requirements
• Proper treatment sequencing
• Troubleshooting and service

You should be able to review a water analysis, understand what actually needs to be treated, determine the appropriate treatment process, size the equipment correctly, and install the complete system.

I am NOT looking for someone who has occasionally installed water softeners as part of a general plumbing job.

Ideal Candidates:

• Active Illinois plumbing license
• Several years working primarily in water treatment
• WQA Certified Water Specialist certification
• WQA Certified Installer certification
• WQA Master Water Specialist certification
• Experience with Culligan, Kinetico, EcoWater, RainSoft, or a strong independent water treatment company
• Experience designing systems rather than simply installing equipment selected by someone else
• Experience with both municipal water and private wells
• Experience working in high-end homes

Certifications are a plus, but real experience and exceptional workmanship matter most.

You may currently be a:

• Senior water treatment installer
• Lead service technician
• Water treatment specialist
• Water treatment service manager
• Licensed plumber specializing in treatment systems
• Longtime installer who has become the person everyone else calls when a difficult system isn't working

You know the equipment.

You know water chemistry.

You know how to troubleshoot.

And you take pride in making an installation look right.
