Window and door Installer Helper

Job Summary

The Installer’s Assistant supports the installation team by assisting with window, door, and other installation tasks, ensuring materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently, maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and customer premises, and providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

What you’ll do

Assist lead installers during window, door, and other installations, providing support to ensure efficient and accurate work.
Load and unload job materials, tools, and equipment at the warehouse, work sites, and customer locations.
Help prepare work areas by removing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Keep the work vehicle clean, organized, and maintained, including tools and supplies.
Maintain a clean work site by tidying up after installation, removing waste, and ensuring customer premises are left neat and free of messes or damage.
Support the team by following safety procedures during installation activities.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, team members, and supervisors.
Promptly report issues, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Be punctual and reliable, arriving on time for all scheduled work and appointments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the lead installer or supervisor.
Preferred qualifications

Use of basic tools, such as a power drill, hammer, caulk gun, multitool, etc.
Valid driver’s license required.
Previous experience in construction, installation, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience with construction site environments is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge to assist with various installation techniques.
