Role Overview
Window Installer wanted to join our dynamic team here at Open and Shut. In this role, you will install and replace windows on residential construction sites, ensuring each project meets our quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately using dimensional measurement tools.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install windows and trim carpentry with hand and power tools.
- Handle glass materials carefully during fabrication, transportation, and installation.
- Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work for energy efficiency and weatherproofing.
- Assist with drywall installation, metal stud framing, and remodeling tasks as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks on measurements and installed components.
- 3+ years of residential or commercial window installation experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Hands-on experience with window installation, glass handling, and carpentry.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes).
- Prior experience in remodeling, drywall, caulking, painting, or handyman work is a plus.
