WINDOW TREATMENT INSTALLER

Thread workroom located in Ashland; MA is seeking a detail-oriented Window Treatment Installer to join our team
serving luxury residential projects throughout Metro Boston and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate
has extensive experience installing custom window treatments and takes pride in delivering a precise, polished
finished product. We are willing to train the right person that has experience in a similar field.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install custom window treatments, including draperies, stationary panels, Roman shades, roller and solar
shades, woven shades, blinds, motorized window treatments, and custom cornices, valances, and
upholstered treatments.

• Accurately measure windows and confirm installation requirements.
• Install rods, tracks, brackets, hardware, and related components.
• Install and program motorized shades and drapery systems.
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field.
• Inspect finished installations to ensure proper alignment, operation, and appearance.
• Coordinate installation schedules with designers, workrooms, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain a clean and professional job site.
• Handle high-end furnishings and finishes with care.
• Communicate professionally with clients and members of the design team.
• Complete installations within established schedules and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional window treatment installation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custom residential window treatments and installation method is a plus.
• Ability to accurately measure and evaluate windows and installation conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read workroom specifications, drawings, and installation instructions.
• Comfortable working independently while coordinating with a project team.
• Professional appearance and excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and install window treatment materials and equipment.
• Ability to work throughout Metro Boston and surrounding communities.

LOCATION
