Schedule: Full-time, based on project needs

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Wood Framers to join our construction staffing team for contract assignments with residential and/or commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wood framing, the ability to read construction plans, and a strong commitment to quality, productivity, and job-site safety.

Wood Framers will work alongside other construction professionals to build structural wood components according to project specifications, plans, and applicable building codes.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and framing plans.

Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing components.

Construct walls, floors, roofs, partitions, and other structural wood components.

Install studs, joists, rafters, trusses, headers, beams, and sheathing.

Layout framing according to measurements and project specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, saws, nail guns, and other construction equipment safely.

Verify dimensions, levels, plumb, and alignment of framing components.

Work efficiently as part of a framing crew and coordinate with other trades.

Follow project schedules and meet daily production expectations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow OSHA and job-site safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Identify and report potential safety hazards, material issues, or construction problems to the supervisor.

Perform other framing and general construction duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Wood Framer, Carpenter, Framing Carpenter, or similar construction role preferred.

Knowledge of residential and/or commercial wood framing methods.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans.

Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install framing materials.

Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in framing.

Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions when required.

Strong understanding of construction-site safety practices.

RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to assigned job sites.

Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver construction materials and equipment.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of professional framing or carpentry experience.

Experience with residential new construction, remodeling, multifamily, or commercial projects.

OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.

Experience operating pneumatic nail guns and other framing equipment.

Basic knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.
