Woodshop Position – Full-Time

Downing Frames is a contemporary art framing studio specializing in the fabrication of handmade, museum-quality frames. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented woodworker to join our talented woodshop team.

📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
📋 Employment Type: Full-time, W2 position (no part-time or cash employment)
🛠 Experience: Some prior woodworking experience is preferred, but we are also open to training individuals who have a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to develop hands-on craftsmanship skills. If you’re eager to learn and ready to commit to mastering a new trade, we’d love to hear from you!

Precision sanding and routing
Accurate measuring and attention to detail
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong work ethic, accountability, and eagerness to learn
