About the shop

We build custom hardwood drawer organizers — every single one made to fit one specific customer's drawer, in walnut, cherry, or maple. No two are the same. We started in 2023 as furniture makers in Arizona and have grown into a production shop that ships nationwide.
We just moved into a larger commercial space and spent the last two years adding real equipment. Now we're adding to the crew.
We stay small on purpose. Fewer people, paid better, held to a higher standard.
What you'll actually be doing
This is hands-on production work in our drawer organizer line:
    

• Rounding over parts on the router table
• Sanding — edge sander, spindle sander, orbital
• Allocating and sorting parts to specific customer projects
• Keeping parts moving through the line and staged for the next stage
• Shop upkeep — dust collection, sweeping, keeping your station clean

You'll start on one or two operations and pick up more as you get them down. Nobody is expected to walk in knowing all of it.
One honest note: a lot of this work is repetitive. The same operation, done precisely, over and over, for hours. Some people find real satisfaction in that. Some don't. Worth knowing before you apply.
What we're looking for
    

• You show up. On time, every day. This is the biggest one.
• Attention to detail. A round-over that's not consistent or a sanding scratch that shows up under oil is a part we can't ship. You need to be the kind of person who notices.
• Physically up for it. On your feet for 8 hours, hands busy, full shift. Dust, noise, hearing protection.
• Coachable. We'd rather train someone with good habits than untrain someone with bad ones.
• Woodworking experience is a plus, not a requirement. Trades, fabrication, manufacturing, or serious garage-shop time all count. So does none of the above if the rest fits.

Where it goes
We have a defined craftsman progression — six levels, each with written standards for what you have to demonstrate to move up, and a pay increase at each step. You'll know exactly what advancement looks like. It's based on skill, not time served.
