Working Commercial Superintendent – Restaurant Upfit

Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead the interior upfit of a well-known restaurant brand. As the GC license holder, I am looking for a field leader who can own the schedule from demo to CO. You must have a "no-excuses" approach to MEP coordination and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

MEP Management: Direct supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subs to ensure rough-ins meet exact franchise specs.

Scheduling: Execute a strict 10-12-week timeline. Manage daily logs and weekly sub-meetings.

Inspections: Coordinate with Miami -Dade building officials to ensure zero-delay transitions between phases.

Self-Performance: Capability to jump in on punch-list items or minor carpentry/specialties as needed to maintain the timeline. If more can be done please let us know.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Lead Superintendent; Restaurant upfit experience is non-negotiable. Preference to those who have experience working with franchises, QSR's and similar. Preference also given to FL GC licensees

Knowledge: Deep understanding of health department requirements, grease traps, and commercial kitchen hoods.

Vibe: Professional enough to represent the GC to the franchise owner, but tough enough to hold subs accountable to the minute
