Working Foreman/Underground Wet Utilities
Description
East County subcontractor is seeking a working foreman for a long-term position. The ideal candidate is dependable, ethical, detail-oriented, and safety-focused, with a positive attitude and the ability to lead, motivate, and train crews. This role also requires strong self-management and teamwork skills. Local candidates are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of prevailing wage
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a foreman/supervisor in underground wet utilities in public/private works
- Experience with water, sewer, storm drain, etc. (Pipeline experience a MUST!)
- Managed a crew of 5+ employees
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of plans and specifications
- Maintain safety standards
- Conduct weekly safety meetings
- Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
- Scheduling and 3-week look ahead
- Coordination with sub-tiers/vendors
- Must have clean DMV and valid California driver’s license
- $160-166k salaried, exempt position DOE
