We’re a company known for delivering high-quality excavation and site work, grading, demolition, concrete, and hardscape projects. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Working Foreman to lead field crews while remaining hands-on with day-to-day operations.
Position Summary:
The Working Foreman will oversee job site operations from start to finish, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, knows how to lead by example, and can handle complex site work with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead field crews on excavation, demolition, finish grading, concrete, and hardscape jobs
- Operate equipment and tools as needed alongside the crew
- Read and interpret plans, site layouts, and grade stakes
- Coordinate scheduling of labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients
- Monitor quality control and troubleshoot issues on site
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in excavation, grading, demolition, hardscape, and concrete
- Prior leadership or foreman experience required
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders, etc.)
- Strong understanding of site layout, drainage, elevations, and finish grading
- Ability to manage timelines, materials, and labor efficiently
- Reliable, team-oriented, and focused on safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license (CDL required with a clean driving record)
