Workshop Assistant — San Marcos, CA
Pay: $21–$26/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time | Schedule varies weekly based on delivery and event schedules. Flexibility is a plus!
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Workshop Assistant to join our fabrication team and help bring woodworking, event structures, and custom builds to life.
This is a hands-on position based primarily in our workshop, with regular deliveries and occasional on-site installations required.We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with tools, takes direction well, works efficiently, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. We are willing to do some training if we find a good fit.
What You’ll Do-
-Assist with woodworking, fabrication, painting, and vinyl application
-Help build and prepare event structures and installations
-Prep materials and keep the workshop clean, organized, and ready for production
-Load and unload trucks for events
-Drive company vans and moving trucks for deliveries and events
-Assist with deliveries and on-site installations as needed
- Professionally represent the company in the field
-Work alongside the build team to complete projects safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
-Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
-Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
-Ability to lift 60+ lbs
-Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
-Comfortable driving company vans and moving trucks
-Clean driving record required
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
-Previous woodworking, fabrication, construction, event production, or shop experience is a plus
