**Zephyr Plumbing | Full-Time | $30–$35 per Hour**

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
**Pay:** $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

**About the Position

Zephyr Plumbing is seeking an organized, dependable, and team-oriented **Purchasing Agent** to join our new construction plumbing team.

This is a fast-paced position requiring strong communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of plumbing materials and construction.

The Purchasing Agent works closely with field employees, project managers, suppliers, manufacturers, and office personnel to ensure materials are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and purchased at competitive pricing.

**Hands-on training will be provided directly by our current Lead Purchasing Agent.**

• Key Responsibilities
• Process daily material orders and requests from field employees.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding pricing, availability, and product specifications.
• Obtain quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Track orders and resolve missing, damaged, incorrect, or delayed materials.
• Coordinate warranties, repairs, and replacement products.
• Manage preorders and tag-and-hold materials.
• Source custom parts, specialty materials, and plumbing fixtures.
• Read plumbing plans and identify material requirements.
• Troubleshoot product and material issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

***Knowledge of plumbing materials and construction practices.**
* Ability to read and understand plumbing plans.
***Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills.**

• Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency with **Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and general computer applications**.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Previous purchasing experience preferred but not required.
• **Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.**

The selected candidate will receive hands-on training from our experienced Lead Purchasing Agent, including company purchasing procedures, suppliers, pricing, ordering systems, specialty products, and troubleshooting.

### Compensation & Benefits
